Top tips for new allotment holders - An article we collaborated on with the National Garden Scheme https://ngs.org.uk/top-tips-for-new-allotment-holders/

We run 2 annual flower shows , our Summer show in  June when the sweet peas and roses are at their best, and our Autumn Show (incorporated within the Heritage Day celebrations locally) for Dahlias and vegetables. Both have classes for cookery, handicraft, flower arranging, pot plants and flowers, fruit and vegetables, but there are classes for children, especially the Autumn Show. Following the success of the collaboration with the local scout leaders, we will, once again be holding a scarecrow competition , so get your children or grandchildren to enter.
